The Lola Story

Lola Blankets was founded by brothers Tommy and Will Higham in honor of their mother, Amy. Through years of living with breast cancer and enduring its treatments, Amy found comfort in her soft, faux fur blanket—which also became a comfort to her entire family. Prior to Amy's passing, she gave each of her children their own blanket, just like hers, to bring comfort and love when she could no longer be there. To honor their mom and her love for them, Tommy and Will founded Lola Blankets in 2021 with the purpose of bringing life-changing comfort and innovative design to the world. 

Also, in Amy's honor, Lola Blankets created Blankets for the Brave - our giving program dedicated to gifting blankets and supporting breast cancer research and patient care. Learn more about our mission.

Since 2021, Lola has grown from Salt Lake City to offices in Lehi, Utah and New York City with a community of over 30,000 five-star reviews and counting. What began as a blanket has expanded into a full lifestyle brand featuring pillows, pet, candles, accessories, and beyond. All of it rooted in the same intention Amy passed down: life-changing softness, for every part of your life.
