Lola Blankets is a tribute to Amy Higham, our Lola. She lived a thoughtful life, devoted to the service of others. Through years of living with breast cancer and enduring its treatments, Amy found comfort in her soft, faux fur blanket. This blanket also became a comfort to her entire family. Prior to Amy’s passing, she gave each of her children their own blanket, just like hers, to bring comfort and love when she could no longer be there. With that same intention, Lola Blankets is dedicated to bringing life-changing softness to the world.

In Amy’s honor, Lola Blankets has created Blankets for the Brave. On a monthly basis, Lola Blankets gifts blankets to the Huntsman Cancer Institute and to women who are living with stage four breast cancer. Also as part of this program, 10% of proceeds from our Rosewater blanket go directly to breast cancer research and patient comfort initiatives at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. 

In addition to our Blankets for the Brave program, we’re proud to partner with the Morgan Pressel Foundation with our Pink Check blanket. Throughout October, 100% of proceeds from this blanket will be donated to the Morgan Pressel Foundation to support their mission in the fight against breast cancer and to make mammograms accessible for women everywhere.
