Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month With the Morgan Pressel Foundation
We are incredibly honored to partner with Morgan Pressel to release a limited-edition Pink Check blanket in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of proceeds from this collaboration will go directly to the Morgan Pressel Foundation, contributing to vital breast cancer research and patient care– a cause close to our hearts at Lola Blankets.
Morgan Pressel is a remarkable figure, known both for her exceptional career in golf and her philanthropic efforts. As the youngest-ever winner of a modern LPGA major at just 18, Morgan's talent and determination set her apart in the world of sports. Beyond her accomplishments on the course, Morgan’s legacy shines through her dedication to changing the lives of those battling breast cancer and their families.
Morgan established the Morgan Pressel Foundation in honor of her mother, who passed away from breast cancer when Morgan was just 15 years old. The foundation is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research, early detection, and treatment. Since its founding, the Morgan Pressel Foundation has raised and contributed millions of dollars to cancer research institutions and charities, such as the Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Lynn Cancer Institute in South Florida.
A key initiative of the foundation is the Morgan Pressel MammoVan, a mobile mammography unit that provides early breast cancer detection services and breast health education in an accessible, comfortable, and high-quality environment. Emphasizing the importance of early detection, the MammoVan helps identify breast cancer at its most treatable stages, ensuring that vital services are within reach for more women.
