How To Care For Your Blanket

One of our top priorities when designing Lola Blankets was to ensure they would be easily machine washable while maintaining their softness over time—something that many other blankets on the market were lacking.

In this article, we’ll show you how to wash your Lola Blanket to keep its softness and quality for years to come. Made with ultra-soft vegan faux fur, our blankets need a little extra care, but rest assured—they’ll stay just as soft, wash after wash.

1. Prep

  • Give your blanket a shake to get loose any particles and dust.

2. Machine Wash

  • Use a large capacity washer to allow your blanket to have room to move around freely.
  • Machine wash alone in cold water on a gentle or delicate cycle. Do not use hot water.
  • Use mild liquid detergent—do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
  • Do not iron or dry-clean your blanket.

3. Drying

  • For best results, air dry your blanket by laying it flat or hanging it up.
  • Tumble dry in AIR mode to restore fluffiness

Extra Softness Tips:

  • Avoid washer overcrowding by only washing your blanket by itself
  • Use gentle detergent, and never use fabric softener.
  • Run on AIR in the dryer for 15 minutes to refresh softness.
