I absolutely LOVE the "regular" large stretchy blanket and somehow I thought the Weighted one would be very similar fabrication, but just a bit heavier. I'm really kind of disappointed in the Weighted blanket. It's not as "cuddly" as the regular Lola ... I've given 4 of the regular ones as gifts and am obsessed with my original one, but just not loving the weighted version. The weight itself is fine - I almost wish it were heavier. It's the "stiffness" - non stretching - part that I miss. I re-read all of the ads and you don't really give any info that separates the two - other than weight - so I did think they'd be more alike. Live and learn. But your original blanket is over the top perfect!

Not weighted, just a soft blanket
The blanket IS very soft. Have I felt very similarly soft blankets at HomeGoods for 1/10th of the price? Yes. My biggest qualm is that the blanket isn't weighted at all. I didn't notice any difference in this blanket from others that I have around the house, unfortunately. It's a beautiful blanket, but most certainly doesn't warrant the title of "weighted", nor the price tag.

Not as soft as regular Lola blanket
Mine came with opening on the seam and customer service was amazing and responded in under 5 minutes and immediately sent me a new one. I do love the weighted blanket but I just received the regular white Lola blanket and it’s wayyyy softer there is definitely a big difference. Wondering if it’s just the cappuccino color and if the white weighted blanket would feel like the original. Highly recommend the regular Lola blanket over the weighted blanket SOLEY due to the softness difference. It’s the best blanket I’ve owned and worth the price.
